(Video) De Gea hails United’s fighting spirit after disappointing draw vs Southampton

Manchester United players are bound to feel that they should have beaten Southampton in the Premier League today. David de Gea spoke to 

A number of questionable decision from referee Anthony Taylor went in Southampton’s favour as the game ended as a scoreless draw.

Speaking to broadcasters after the match, David de Gea picked out the positives from the 0-0 draw with Southampton.

“We showed good team spirit. We fight until the end.”

De Gea isn’t wrong. The team showed good spirit today, despite being down the 10-men.

Manchester United were reduced to 10-men in the first-half after Casemiro’s studs-up challenge on Carlos Alvaraz. Replaces show that the Brazilian won the ball first, so it will be interesting to see if United appeal the decision.

Otherwise Casemiro misses four games.

United were also dealt a blow when Alejandro Garnacho went off injured after coming on as a substitute in the second half.
