Confirmed Manchester United XI vs Real Betis: Facundo Pellistri starts

Manchester United are back in action this evening when they face Real Betis in the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie this evening.

Erik ten Hag has named his starting line-up to face the La Liga outfit.

David de Gea will start between the sticks, behind a back four consisting of Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez and Tyrell Malacia.

All eyes will be on Casemiro tonight, given the Brazilian can’t play another domestic game until April 15. That is the week United will begin their quarter-final in this competition and if the midfielder is booked tonight he will miss that as well. He is joined in midfield by Fred and Bruno Fernandes.

Up front, Wout Weghorst leads the line, with Marcus Rashford and Facundo Pellistri starting from either side.

Manchester United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Martinez, Malacia, Casemiro, Fred, Fernandes, Pellistri, Rashford, Weghorst.

United are heavy favourites to progress from the tie after winning the first leg 4-1, but that doesn’t mean they will be taking their opponents lightly.

Ten Hag will expect his players to go out there and get the job done without any reasons to panic.
