Erik ten Hag has weighed in on the spectacular partnership between two of Manchester United’s most creative attackers, Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes.
The pair have looked sensational this season, especially the Englishman, who is enjoying the best form of his career so far.
Their performances have been pivotal to the Reds’ results, which have them third in the Premier League, winners of the Carabao Cup and one of the favourites to win both the FA Cup and Europa League.
Speaking to former prolific Red Robin van Persie, Ten Hag lifted the lid to his fellow Dutchman on his players’ relationship.

Van Persie said: “One other great partnership is Fernandes and Rashford, the way they find each other, especially Fernandes towards Rashford. Do you practice that specific with those two players based on their qualities?”
Ten Hag responded: “Yes. You have to find out where the connections are. Once you feel that players have a connection, you can improve it. Not by focusing every day on it, but just by simple putting [them] together in drills. Show them video clips – how they can take benefit from each other.”
