United loanee Hannibal Mejbri named in Tunisia starting line-up for AFCON clash

Manchester United youngster Hannibal Mejbri has been named in Tunisia’s starting line-up to take on Libya in an Africa Cup of Nations clash.

Tunisia will play Libya twice in the last international break of the season; tonight is a home outing at the Stade Olympique de Rades and on Tuesday, March 28 the teams will face off again at the Martyrs of February Stadium.

The 20-year-old is spending the season on loan in the Championship with Birmingham City and has made 35 appearances so far; 22 as a starter and 13 as a substitute, returning one goal and six assists in that time.

Erik ten Hag will have a huge decision to make in the summer on whether to send Hannibal on another loan spell or keep him at Old Trafford to continue his development with the first team.
