Manchester United and Tottenham show interest in Crystal Palace defender

Manchester United are interested in signing Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi in the summer.

Erik ten Hag doesn’t know yet how much he will have to spend in the transfer window at the end of the season, but the club is still busy identifying targets.

It is understood that the manager would like to sign a new centre-back amid suggestions that Harry Maguire’s days are numbered at Old Trafford.

United have been linked with Napoli’s Kim Min-jae as a potential prime target but Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi continues to make the gossip columns, too.

According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, United and Tottenham are interested in signing Guehi and it is understood that Palace are open to his departure.

The 22-year-old has been one of the best young centre-backs in the Premier League this season, so it comes as no surprise that United would be interested in securing his signature.

In fact, Stretty News reported back in January that an enquiry was made by United into Guehi’s future.

That means the interest has been there a while.
