Donny van de Beek exploring transfer market ahead of potential move

Donny van de Beek could seek a transfer away from Manchester United this summer.

The 26-year-old Netherlands international has not played for Manchester United since January due to injury, with Chelsea ace Mason Mount now edging closer to a move to Old Trafford.

The links to Mount aren’t good news for Van de Beek because such an arrival would only force the former Ajax star further down the pecking order at United.

In turn, it has been suggested that Van de Beek will look for a move elsewhere as he searches for regular game time.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Van de Beek will exploring options on the market in the next weeks as he could leave United.

Romano adds that Van de Beek loves the club and Ten Hag, but he wants more assurances over game time, which he won’t get at Old Trafford.

Van de Beek ready for pre-season

After a thorough recovery process, Van de Beek is ready to get back on the pitch for the new season — whether he may end up.

We’ll see over the coming weeks if any of the big clubs around Europe signal interest in Van de Beek.

It would be best for all parties (Van de Beek/United) to go their separate ways. I still have my doubts as to whether he’s cut out for the Premier League.
