Manchester United have earmarked Monaco’s Axel Disasi as the alternative to Kim Min-jae this summer.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with Min-jae in recent weeks, with several outlets reporting that the deal is as good as done.
However, it seems there is still ground for United to make up in their pursuit of the 26-year-old, and until they’ve crossed the t’s and dotted the i’s, they’re looking at backup options just in case the transfer falls through.
Disasi eyes United move
According to Fabrizio Romano, Disasi wants to move to United but the two clubs are yet to reach an agreement for his potential switch to Old Trafford.

He made 49 appearances across the 2022/2023 campaign, scoring six goals and assisting a further four.
Disasi, 25, made his France debut at the 2022 World Cup when he received a call-up from Didier Deschamps to replace the injured Presnel Kimpembe.
