(Video) Sky Sports reporter says Sheikh Jassim is frustrated with Glazers delaying takeover process

Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is reportedly growing increasingly “frustrated and fed up” with the Manchester United bidding process.

It was confirmed today that the Qatari billionaire had submitted a fifth and final bid for the club in the region of £5 billion, with a further £1 billion pledged to invest in the players, infrastructure and transfers.

He has also given the Glazers an ultimatum; after Friday, there will be no further offers or engagement from the Qataris’ side.

This is due to Jassim’s annoyance with the Americans dragging their heels in the takeover situation, that has been ongoing since November 2022.

Kaveh Solhekol gave his verdict on the matter this afternoon on Sky Sports, saying: “Sheikh Jassim is frustrated, he is fed up.

“This takeover process has gone on for almost seven months. I’m sure you’re frustrated with it, I’m frustrated with it, everyone’s frustrated with it – including Sheikh Jassim. He has said, ‘This is it, it is take it or leave it time. This is my final offer – my fifth and final offer.’

“The Glazers have until Friday to take it leave it, otherwise, Sheikh Jassim is going to leave the bid on the table but he is walking away. He is not going to be engaging with them anymore.”
