Video: Bruno Fernandes seals brace with cool penalty vs Bournemouth

Manchester United have come back from behind twice against Bournemouth this evening, with captain Bruno Fernandes finding his hot streak at the perfect time.

The hosts took an early lead through Dominic Solanke but the Portuguese skipper scored soon after. The Cherries almost immediately regained their lead, however. Bournemouth were far superior in the first half and United were lucky to not be behind by more.

United were given the perfect chance to find their feet in the game roughly halfway through the second half as the Reds were awarded a spot-kick following a handball. The skipper stepped up and cooly sent the goalkeeper the wrong way, as seen below.

United are now searching for a winner as Erik ten Hag looks to get his side back to winning ways after three straight games without a win in the Premier League.

The goal also means that Fernandes has now scored 52 goals in the Premier League since joining the club, which is more than any other midfielder in that period.
