The early team news and predicted line-up ahead of Manchester United’s trip to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Erik ten Hag will hope that his team can find an improvement when they travel to Selhurst Park on Monday night. There isn’t a lot of football left to play and we are going into the game after a poor draw with Burnley a week ago.
United have been dealt more injury news ahead of the game, although there was some positive news with the return of Jonny Evans in training after a recent issue.
Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay face late fitness tests ahead of the game. Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have both been ruled out.
Here is how we think United will line-up against Crystal Palace.
GK – Andre Onana
There is no disputing our no.1.
Defence – Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Jonny Evans, Diogo Dalot
Most of the defence picks itself at the moment. Wan-Bissaka should be looking forward to facing his former club, while it’s an opportunity for Ten Hag to get minutes under Evans’ belt before the FA Cup final against Man City.
Midfield – Casemiro, Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount
Casemiro has not performed well this season, which is why his days at United are numbered, but hopefully he can have a good run in including the FA Cup final. This is also the perfect game to throw Mount in from the start since Bruno Fernandes was spotted wearing a protective medical cast around his right wrist before the weekend. Mainoo is one of the first names on the teamsheet.
Attack – Antony, Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho
Antony took his goal well against Burnley but he was wasteful in possession otherwise. We need to see more on Monday night. It would be nice to see our full in attack in on the scoresheet at Selhurst Park.
Stretty News predicted XI: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Evans, Dalot; Casemiro, Mainoo, Mount; Antony, Hojlund, Garnacho.

Onana
Dalot Martinez Ogguneye Shaw
Mount Amad Collyier
Antony Hojlund Garnacho.
This should be the stronger xi against Palace.
Carrie, we published this article before the weekend. We could honestly run an updated one every single day at the rate we are getting injuries.
